WHAT HERBS ARE IN YOUR WILD’ERB™ SKIN CARE HERB BLEND

Barberry (Berberis vulgaris), Burdock (Arctium lappa), Cleavers (Gallium aparine),Comfrey (Symphytum officinale). WHAT DOES THE ORIGINAL SIGNATURE SCENT SMELL LIKE?

Our signature scent is a blend of 11 different premium grade fragrance oils designed to smell clean and fresh and a tad sweet but earthy. We use the following scents in our blend:

Hawaiian Lei, Green Apple. Passion Fruit, Cucumber Melon, Peach, Pear, Citrus, Pineapple, Country Spice, English Ivy, Tangerine.

HOW IS THE BODY OIL DIFFERENT FROM THE SALVE?

The salve IS the Body Oil thickened with Shea, Mango and Avocado Butters and Emu Oil.

HOW LONG DO YOUR SOAPS LAST?

We seem to be getting 3-4 weeks out of each of the bars if used by itself on the skin without a washcloth or loufa. If it is in a moist environment, especially sitting in water or with water running on it, a bar will of course lose some of its shelf-life. We give our soaps the maximum drying time to bring you a product with the longest possible shelf-life if stored per our suggestions.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING YOUR SHAMPOO?

Made with water extract of our herb formula so it helps with tough scalp conditions. Has salicylic acid extracted from willow bark. Contains five of the best conditioning agents: aloe, Panthenol, guar gum, Oat Straw and Hydrolyzed Silk extract. Is sulfate-free; doesn’t strip the scalp of its natural oils so you don’t have to wash your hair as often AND if you color-treat, it is less likely to strip the color. Is very concentrated, use a quarter of what you would normally use, so it saves you money. Lathers well. We use a coconut-based surfactant that make nice suds but is gentle on the skin.

IS THERE SOMETHING NATURAL TO USE FOR OVER-ACTIVE SWEAT GLANDS?

Sage is the herb that gently controls that activity of the sweat glands and can be safely taken as an inexpensive supplement. We don’t put enough into our foods to get the medicinal benefits, so supplementation is often needed.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH ANTIPERSPIRANTS CONTAINING ALUMINUM?

The body needs to sweat to get rid of toxins. Aluminum plugs up not just the sweat glands but the lymph glands as well. Aluminum is absorbed into the body and being a heavy metal we have trouble eliminating it and it gets stored in our tissues. Our Wild’erb™ Deodorant is Aluminum-Free.

HOW IS THE FACE SERUM DIFFERENT THAN THE FACE CREAM?

The Serum is a combination of all the good oil-based ingredients that are in the face cream with the addition of Borage Seed, Cranberry Seed and Rosehip Oils. While both the Face Cream and the Serum can be used day and night, the Serum is intended for those stubborn spot and is often applied at night.

ARE YOUR HERBAL PRODUCTS ORGANIC?

We do not have “Organic” on the label but we source our ingredients from suppliers that do. Our philosophy is to help others live a holistic lifestyle by sharing mother nature at her best in a sustainable and conscious way and with good intentions. We choose to use herbs and plants that are either organic or another method called “wildcraft” when harvested directly from the woods and meadows. We believe this practice to be even better than organic because the plants are growing in soil that has never been cultivated and still has all the minerals in it that should be in healthy soil.

Yes, our products are totally gluten free.

Some but not all our products are vegan because we do find the benefits of Emu oil to be far superior to other natural replacements and we strive to offer the best solutions in natural herbal skin care. We also use Beeswax and Lanolin products. No bees or sheep are harmed in the process and we use certified and inspected suppliers.
